Our Legacy of Precision, Growth, and Innovation

Founder’s Entrepreneurial Journey

The growth of Subur Perfume Private Limited is closely connected to the entrepreneurial journey of its founder, Mohammad Sabbiruddin Subur. His entry into the perfume industry was influenced not only by business ambition but also by the inspiration and values inherited from his father. The business started on a small scale, where the founder focused on learning about fragrance ingredients, understanding the perfume trade, and building relationships with customers and suppliers. Through dedication, perseverance, and consistent effort, he gradually expanded the business by focusing on product quality and customer trust. As the company gained experience and recognition, it began exploring opportunities in international markets. Recognizing the strong demand for oud-based fragrances in the Middle East, the company started exporting its products to Gulf countries, which played a major role in the growth and global recognition of the brand. The formal incorporation of the company in 2021 marked an important milestone in the founder’s journey, transforming the enterprise into a structured private limited company.

The Beginning of the Brand

The story of Subur Perfume began in 1990, when Mohammad Sabbiruddin Subur started his journey in the fragrance industry with the vision of creating a trusted and high-quality perfume brand. His entrepreneurial path was strongly influenced by the inspiration and legacy of his father, Late Abdul Hoque Subur, whose values and guidance played an important role in shaping the foundation of the brand. Abdul Hoque Subur was known for his integrity, dedication, and strong belief in honest business practices. He believed that true success in business comes from trust, commitment, and delivering genuine value to people. His dream was to build a perfume enterprise that would represent authenticity, quality, and long-term relationships with customers. Inspired by his father’s vision and principles, Mohammad Sabbiruddin Subur carried forward this dream by establishing Subur Perfume. Although the company was formally founded by him, the inspiration behind its journey remains closely connected to the ideals and teachings of Abdul Hoque Subur. The business initially began on a small scale in Assam, India, where the founder started gaining experience in the perfume trade. During this early stage, the focus was on understanding fragrance ingredients, building supplier networks, and learning traditional perfume-making methods.

Expansion and Development

As the business continued to grow, Subur Perfume began expanding its product offerings and developing its identity as a brand specializing in traditional oriental fragrances, particularly those based on agarwood (Oudh) and natural attar oils. The company focused on maintaining product quality, sourcing authentic fragrance ingredients, and building strong relationships with customers and distributors. Over time, the business expanded its operations and began supplying products beyond regional markets. The company later established its operational base in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, which is an important commercial and logistics hub. This location enabled the company to manage manufacturing, distribution, and export activities more efficiently and connect with international fragrance markets.
